So i've decided to use this forum to put my recipes up so if anyone wants to make some yummy vegan food they have a few recipes at their disposal. That and it helps give me something to do and some sense of motivation to keep going. Though I must say, I have more energy, and I don't feel like crap and want to stab someone when I wake up. I'll wake up, have a cup of tea, wait until I'm hungry, generally about an hour, and eat a bowl of cereal or oatmeal... my new favorite thing in the morning is oatmeal with dried blueberries and a little medium maple syrup for sweetness and flavor(the real stuff, not corn syrup with maple flavoring).
ANYWAYS, so lunch today i made up some brown rice and did a yummy stir fry and some whole wheat vegan naan i found at whole foods. Anyways, time for some yoga!

So here's the recipe

New Diet?

So I've decided to start eating how I used to at the end of high school, which is a semi-vegetarian/vegan diet. I'll still eat meat and such, just two to three times a week instead of everyday. I remember I was a hell of a lot healthier in that 2 years than in the 2 years when I moved to Iowa and it was impossible to be vegetarian/vegan. I started eating that way because I found out what a horrid impact the meat and dairy industry had on the environment (I was pretty environmentaly concious as a kid and teen). Anyways, thats my story, I'm keeping myself to a one month goal of doing this starting today.
So for breakfast I made myself a tofu scramble and some toast, it was pretty good, there is no substitute for eggs, but the tofu scramble was delicious.

Here's the recipe should you be interested to try it:

1/2 block of tofu crumbled into large chunks
(sautee for about 3-5 minutes)
1tbs nutritional yeast (its weird its creamy and buttery and nutty and delicious)
1tbs soy sauce
1/2 tsp of onion and garlic powder
(sautee another 2 ish minutes)
1/4 of an onion
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 cup of mache
throw in the veggies and cook all the way through and tada!

You can add some cheese to it if you want, I didn't have any vegan cheese to add and I wanted to keep it as a vegan meal.
Like I said, its not eggs but its still really good, and good for you!

I have a gay son

My kitten is gay... yup gay, and not only gay, but a bottom. I took him to the vet to have a wellness exam done and he downright loved the thermometer. LOVED! I have a gay power bottom kitten. Maybe the pink collar and pink cat carrier were a good idea after all.

Woke up to kitten paying my face telling me its time to eat. Walked to his food dish and proceeded to hack up much lung butter. I think I'm only working half my shift this afternoon, working an 11 hour shift would probably be my demise, especially considering its a weekend and the people and things I would have to put up with would drive me crazy.

Oh, but on a good note, after I got off work last night I went and met a couple of friends for dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory. It was rather frustrating, the service was horrid. I arrived after my friends and asked the waitress for menu after they got their food, she said okay and proceeded to walk to the table right behind us where she had a full on conversation about sluts skanks and whores. So i got up walked past her and got my own menu and sat back down. 5 Minutes later she came back to take my order. I asked for balsamic vinegar and olive oil for the bread, 5-7 minutes later I had the oil and vinegar, but she failed to bring a dish for me to put them in so I had to wait for her to bring me my entree before I was able to get a dish for them. It was ridiculous! The manager came over and asked how the service was and I was like... what service? I mean, there was a lot more to it than that but yeah. Anyways he comped my meal it was pretty cool. I love free food.

On a brighter note, the sun is shining and its a beautiful day! So I'm gonna hit a couple lines of coke and shoot some bitches.

A few things

So I've been pretty ill the past few days, I have that lovely flu that's been going around. But anyways, as a few of you know I had to put my kitten to sleep last week and it was a hard thing to do. Yesterday, however, I went and adoptoted a kitten by the name name of Kirby. He has got to be the sweetest most loving kitten ever. So yeah, exciting news there.

Also at work today the most hillarious thing, I've had a lot of drunk people do odd things, but today I had one lock himself in the bathroom! It was hillarious! He was freaked out, I tried to tell him to unlock the door but he couldn't for the life of him figure it out. After I unlocked the door for him and he left I just started busting up laughing, and surprisingly almost everyone in the car followed suit. Ah, I love my job.

Oh here's my kitten and I napping
